How to Play

  1. Gather your squad – a special group of family and/or friends!
  2. Explain that you are going to be choreographers: people who create dance movements for a dance or show.
  3. Pick a favorite song together, and start playing it!
  4. Have your child select one squad member to start. That first choreographer should create a dance move, then call on another person.
  5. The next squad member performs the first move, then adds a move of their own.
  6. Repeat this process until everyone has had a turn being the choreographer.
  7. Perform the whole dance sequence together!
  8. Play again!

Parent Talking Tips

  • How do you explain your dance move? Use your body to show us and/or your words to tell us!
  • What is the first dance move?
  • What dance move comes next?
  • How does it feel to dance?
  • How does it feel to create a move and then perform it? How does it feel to see others perform it together?
